Through our analysis and in-depth knowledge of Brisbane, as mentioned we recognised the transformation of Newstead from a light industrial area in inner Brisbane to one of the ‘hottest precincts’ – with bars and restaurants that would generate demand for not just office but also residential and retail in the area.
In this instance, we identified a lack of retail space for fashion. As a strategic acquisition, we purchased the land occupied by light industrial sheds; created a façade, landscaping and interiors transforming the asset into a fashion hub.
We attracted key fashion names to the asset generating significant increases in rental income and pre-let the office space.
